Pride

Jus' now as i was jus' browsing through Orkut... i found that a lot of people have added the video of Abhinav Bindra receiving the gold medal, with comments such as " I'm soooooo proud to be an Indian " Gosh... 1 medal going into the 11th day of the Olympic makes us proud to be Indian??? Sheessh, people get a life...

Stop being so hypocritic...With the talent which flounder here , we should be right up there with the China and USA..Forget USA, look at China,a couple of Olympics back, they were no where and now they are right at the pinnacle..Guys , time for introspection ...Why are we just content to be participating and anything more is an incentive.....Why can't we be the best??? Why?? Why are we proud of just one gold medal?? Why is our medal tally in all Olympics is less than the number of Golds won by Micheal Phelps alone?? Sorry, if you ask me to be proud of our performance in the Olympics....I'M NOT!!!!

So many roles , just ONE person.....

I'm no one to judge women...being just 21, However i'm posting this just to give my tributes to two special woman....

One , my mother whom i have always known , who has shown me what love means....

Second , a woman whom i seem to have always known , who has shown me what love is.....

Somebody said :

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.

I cannot put in more words to describe mothers.. My respect for womankind is because they are Mothers... I wonder it's because of their "womaness" that mothers are woman, or the other way round!! I love my Mother....



Thank You Mom, for giving me This beautiful life and For being solely MY mom!!! I LOVE YOU..

Yeah ....Thank You 'Jaan' for giving me Love and for taking me for what i AM.. after all , i'm just a gullible little kid who doesn't know what i am and what i feel... Actually, i really don't want to know anything.. 'coz i know the biggest truth of them all .... I LOVE her!!!
